Another year, another Camino.

With much gratefulness to God, my dear wife, family, business partners and friends, I am heading back to Spain for another round.  This time we will be on the Camino Portugues. Several years have passed since our first pilgrimage in 2021, but I am still giddy to hear the sound of my footsteps on the path for an entire day.  Day after day.  I can feel my blood pressure go down just thinking about it.

This time I am joined by my children Augustine (17), Josephine (16) and Bernadette (15) along with friends Jude, Jeff and Lucia.  Besides the new crew, we will be headed up from the south this time on the Camino Portugues.  It is the second most popular route on the Camino, second to the French Way.  There are many historical paths, but they all lead to Santiago de Compostella and the tomb of St. James. It will take us about 7 days and we will be walking about 120 km to get there.
